Processus de sélection
The Hockey Arena was seeking a long-term solution for highly trafficked pathways for ice-resurfacer ride-on machines (Zambonis). They wanted a permanent solution with a long warranty.
Applied chose the Ucrete IF flooring system to repair these eroded concrete floor pathways because it offers exceptional durability and resistance to heavy traffic and mechanical wear. This four-component polyurethane concrete system includes metal aggregates, which enhance its robustness and longevity.
La solution
Ucrete IF can be installed at various thicknesses, this allowed us to customize the installation based on the extent of the damage and the expected level of traffic. The system creates a smooth, matte surface.
Additionally, we adjusted the thickness to accommodate the unique service and cleaning temperatures, making it suitable for this environment since it involves fluctuating temperature conditions, and heavy machinery traffic.
These features made Ucrete IF the versatile and reliable choice we needed for repairing and protecting the concrete floors in this demanding setting.
Applied Flooring warranties this system up to 10 years.
