Applied Industrial Flooring was founded.

2002
Mark McLeod leaves his long-time role with a large American industrial flooring supplier. He focuses on rebuilding the Applied name by focusing on quality industrial sales and flooring installations. The company operates under the name Preferred Polymer Coatings Ltd, but keeps the name Applied Industrial Flooring.

Applied Industrial Flooring's first US Office opens.

Applied's first $1,000,000 project is completed.

Bart Colenbrander joins as partner to improve the customer experience, grow profitable revenue, and manage the business transformation.

Applied moves to a new office location in Cambridge, which is double the footprint.

Applied opens the Ottawa office, which significantly expands the service territory.
